Harter Geometric Flowers
Kids Educational Art Project sponsored by Arts in Stark | Cardstock, vellum, translucency film, Sharpies | 8” x 10”
The 2nd graders at Harter Elementary really showed off their geometry and art skills! They measured and drew intersecting circles with a compass on vellum that came together to form a flower pattern, then colored and layered it on top of another artwork they made from geometric stencils. Some even had time to color transparency film to add another layer to their artwork!
When they were finished with several projects, all their artworks went into their own art book.
The kids even got to have their artworks in an exhibit throughout local businesses on a First Friday in Canton, Ohio featuring artworks from Arts in Stark students!
