Sugar Cube Castles & Watercolor

I worked with students at a few elementary and middle schools on this sugar cube castle with watercolor dip. The classes were instructed to use sugar cubes to make little castles of specific dimensions, then given time to create their own castles. Then the dragons come to dissolve the castles with liquid watercolor so the students can dip their watercolor in pans of colored sugar water to create their own dipped art.
